Fit, Care & Exchange Guide

Every garment fits and behaves a little differently depending on its fabric, cut and construction. Use the information below to select the right size, care for your SVAARIKA garments and understand our exchange process.

Find Your Fit

For the most accurate fit, take your measurements while wearing light clothing and keep the measuring tape comfortably close to the body without pulling it too tight.

Compare your measurements with the size chart provided for the relevant product category. Measurements are listed in inches.

If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

How to Measure

Shoulder
Measure straight across the back, from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other.

Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor.

Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Do not pull the tape too tightly.

Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Sleeve Length
Measure from the edge of your shoulder down to the desired sleeve length, keeping your arm relaxed.

Garment Length
Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down to the desired length of the garment.

Keep the measuring tape straight and comfortably fitted around the body. Do not pull it too tightly.

Please note: Minor measurement variations may occur due to the nature of fabric, stitching and manual measurement.

Wash Care

To preserve the colour, shape and finish of your garment, we recommend following these care instructions:

  • Dry cleaning is recommended, particularly for the first wash and for garments with deep, bright or contrasting colours.
  • When hand washing, wash separately in cold water using a mild detergent.
  • Do not soak the garment for an extended period.
  • Do not use bleach or harsh detergents.
  • Do not wring or tumble dry.
  • Dry naturally in shade.
  • Use a low-temperature iron and iron on the reverse side where required.
  • Keep light and dark-coloured garments separate during washing.

Some richly dyed fabrics may release a small amount of excess colour during the initial wash. Washing the garment separately and following the recommended care instructions will help maintain its colour and finish.

Always refer to the wash-care instructions provided on the garment label before washing.

Exchange Policy

An uninterrupted opening video is mandatory for all exchange requests. Please record the package opening from the sealed parcel through inspection of the item.

We want you to feel comfortable with your SVAARIKA purchase. If you need a different size, you may request an exchange under the following conditions:

  • The exchange request must be raised within 3 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unused, unworn and unwashed.
  • The original SVAARIKA tags must remain attached.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
  • Items showing stains, odour, makeup marks, damage, alteration or signs of use will not be accepted.
  • Exchanges are subject to the availability of the requested size or product.
  • All shipping charges associated with the exchange will be borne by the customer.
  • An exchange will be processed only after the returned product has been received and inspected.

To request an exchange, contact us through WhatsApp with your order details and the size you would like to receive.

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us promptly with your order details and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

Important Note

Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings. Minor variations in print placement, texture or measurements may occur and are part of the individual character of the garment.
